Infection is coming back

I could really use your prayers right now. The infection in my face is back full force. It is also affecting my eye. They are placing me back on oral antibiotics. If this does not clear up, surgery is inevitable. The mesh that is being used as a support to my eye and my sinus wall will need to be removed. There is a concern that if it is removed, the eye may not have enough support. They are hopeful that there will be enough scarring to hold the eye in place, but it is too hard to know. I don't know if I have it in me to go through yet another surgery. Please pray this infection will go away. I am really down about this and am trying hard to stay positive. I just want so badly to heal.

Love,
Sue

Sue-
I am so sorry to hear that the infection is back. I keep claiming the verses I shared with you last time- that God does know HOW to rescue you and heal you and that He longs to be gracious to you. Sue I don't know why this is happening, but God does. The question that needs to be asked is "Do you trust in God's character?" Who He says He is..., what He says in His word that He will do for you..., How much He loves you..., That He has a plan and purpose for you..., That nothing is impossible with God..., That He will never leave you nor forsake you..., That He is the great Healer and can restore you to health and heal your wounds, That He is a God of grace, comfort, hope and peace. We do not always get to know why, but we need to believe that God's way is the best way. I am praying hard that you will not need to have surgery again... but if you do than you need to believe in God's character- He would never put you through that unless He had too- to make sure you are completely healed and restored. Sue He wants the best for you- believe in who He says HE IS. Let go and let God- walk with Him hand in hand - He will lead...

Praying for the infection to be gone and for you to be filled with joy, peace, strength, and courage that surpasses all understanding!

Love,
Nikki

Sue,
I don't know why this is happening, but I do know that God knows what he is doing through you. God created you, he had plans for you before you were even born, he knows your body, he knows your needs. He's always with you, through the good news and the bad. God says, he uses the weak to lead the strong, he says the last will be first in His kingdom, he says his power is made perfect in our weakness. Through your blog, and everything you have written, and everything you have been through, God has used you to be a leader for him, in your weakness he has shown his power. God has and is using you to reveal himself to the many readers of your blog. You have touched many lives, you have shown your faith and trust in him even when you have been through terrible experiences. Keep on trusting in him, and remember you are beautiful, and God loves you, and he will take care of you. I will keep on praying the medicine works and your infection will heal. I'll also keep praying for the healing of your leg.
